  • The HW due dates should be correct on Canvas 2024.

  • The Homework assignments themselves are up to date; But some of the HW due dates for 2024 are NOT up to date on this website yet.
  • HW is due each Wednesday at 3pm, starting Wednesday Oct 9 with HW 0.
  • If you have a Mac please bring it to class on Friday where we will try to help set it up for OpenGl.
  • Click Assignments, on the left pane to see them. See Canvas 2024 for the correct due dates.
  • Homework submission will be done through Canvas -- CS171 2024 on Canvas, Assignments page ... which can also can be reached through your access.caltech account.
  • Use the "Home" page on Canvas to see the top Canvas view of the course.
  • We are still in need of some 2024 TAs! the TA list is not updated yet on this website.
• Meanwhile, take a look at the Class Policies page to look at a description of our collaboration and external resources policy. Please read!
• NOTE: Students whose work is below the passing line will be STRONGLY encouraged to DROP the course before Drop Day. A sufficient amount of good work submitted and graded by Drop Day is a requirement for passing the course!
• For your submitted assignments, please make sure to tell us if there are any unusual behaviors or unfixed bugs with your submitted solutions. This will help save much TA grading time. It will be much easier for us to be told that the strange or wrong behavior was already expected!
• Like last year, we will be using Piazza to post recitation slides, assignment clarifications, etc. Students enrolled on Regis by September 24 have already been enrolled onto Piazza.
• Please keep an eye out for future announcements! Most of these will take place on Piazza.
• Click Assignments on the left to access the assignments.
• Assignments will typically be due on Wednesdays at 3pm. You should submit your assignments on Canvas.
• We will finalize the TA lab hour times and post TA hours shortly.
• When the TA hours are ready, you can click "Contacts" on the left to get the up-to-date TA lab hours.
